Period
July 12, 2023 – July 21, 2024
Location

Following heavy rainfall, a slope in Saint-Damien and its homemade retaining wall of large blocks slid, causing the wall to collapse on May 1, 2023.

The study includes the design of the riprap stabilization, the preparation of the plans and technical specifications, construction supervision and the issuance of a certificate of compliance.

After a landslide on private property

The slope and its homemade retaining wall of large blocks gave way after heavy rainfall: the wall collapsed on May 1, 2023, between two homes.

The selected solution, large-block riprap, was designed and then built under our supervision. The project received funding and oversight from the Ministère de la Sécurité publique.
